Chase wanted a Lightning McQueen cake, and he got to put his own decorations on it. Apparently the other surprise was that I let him stay in his pajamas all day long.
Graham wanted a monster truck party. Turns out, his cake looked a lot like Chase's (thanks for pointing that out, Chris...). I think Graham had a good day, too.
In other news, both boys' yearly checkups went fine, although they are kind of skinny for their age. It would help if they would expand their list of foods they will eat (for instance, why not include Mexican, Italian, soups, casseroles, things that are crunchy, things that are mushy, things that include tomatoes, things that have spots (spices) on them, things that have a little bit of blackening from the grill, and things that touch each other on the plate? Maybe next year.)
