One afternoon, I heard the kids making plans for something in the garage. Then I saw them head out to the backyard with bike helmets, golf clubs, ropes, and snow brick molds. When I went to investigate, I found out they were teaming up to fight off the smoke coming from the neighbor's yard.

Vacation 2013
This year, for a vacation, Will's family rented a house in southwestern Pennsylvania and we spent a weekend together. With 6 kids in the house, there was always something going on. (Always!) It was a lot of fun! We missed Ben & Tabatha, Logan & Audrey, but hopefully they will be able to come next time.
Summertime
Catching lightning bugs, and the sunset that followed it.
Flyswatter painting with the neighbor girls. They brought their homemade slip-n-slide, which the kids loved.

Pony Rides
At the end of Graham's preschool year, a local farmer offered pony rides around the parking lot for $3. To curb their disappointment and my cheapskate ways, I suggested we talk to Uncle Rodney, Aunt Susan, and Emily instead. They were kind enough to help us out, and the kids really enjoyed their rides on Tina Marie. (Thank you again!!!!)

Graduations
Oh, man... I just realized it's been a LONG time since we posted anything. End-of-school/soccer season/strawberry season all overlapped this year, leaving us without a lot of extra time.
Anyway, both boys had graduation ceremonies at preschool this year. While some people may think it's over the top to have preschool graduation, it made the boys feel very special.
Chase was mostly distracted by the tassel on his cap. It was like hanging a yellow squirrel next to his face.
Graham's teacher told a short story about each of the kids as she gave them their certificate. Graham's story got a lot of laughs--he has Grandpa to thank for his love of the Beatles.
We have enjoyed the extra time and the warm weather so far this summer!

Deadly bunnies.
Gabriella walks in carrying a white stuffed rabbit.
"This is my bunny rabbit named Geeda. She eats biscuits and dead arms and coyotes. And also leaves and carrots. And also Bigad Wolves."
